On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Gate City High School standouts Carter Babb and Jake Taylor’s current college team, the UVA Wise Cavaliers, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Union Bulldogs.

The game took place at Burchell Stallard Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. at Burchell Stallard Baseball Field against Union Bulldogs.
