On Friday, May 30, former Abingdon High School standout Chase Hungate’s current collegiate team the Mississippi State Bulldogs lost 11-2 against the Northeastern Huskies in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium at 9 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Northeastern Huskies in the tournament.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 6:05 p.m. at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium.
