Martinsville seeks applicants for board and commission vacancies

The City of Martinsville has announced that it is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on several boards and commissions. These groups are involved in shaping city policies, guiding community initiatives, and supporting the future development of Martinsville.

Openings are available on a range of committees, including the Arts & Culture Committee, Architectural Review Board, Anchor Group Home Commission, Transportation Safety Commission, Tree Board, Henry County–Martinsville Joint Social Services Board, Board of Zoning Appeals, Piedmont Regional Community Services Board, and the Southern Area Agency on Aging Board of Directors.

According to the announcement: “Serving on a board is an opportunity to:

Contribute to meaningful City projects and priorities
Provide valuable community input
Help strengthen Martinsville’s future”

Residents who wish to participate can submit their applications online at onboard.martinsvilleva.gov. The deadline for submissions is December 9. For further information, individuals may contact the City Manager’s Office at 276-403-5155.
