Morgan Griffith, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 9th district since 2011, has recently shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Born in Philadelphia in 1958 and currently residing in Salem, Griffith has been active in politics for several decades. He previously served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2000 to 2010 before succeeding Rick Boucher in Congress.
On May 17, Griffith expressed concerns regarding President Biden’s capacity to fulfill his presidential duties. In a tweet, he stated: “Biden’s inability to discharge the duties of his office was evident, and yet the Vice President and cabinet officials didn’t act. Their failure to invoke the 25th Amendment warrants more questions!”
Two days later, on May 19, Griffith conveyed his support for President Biden amidst health challenges. He tweeted: “My prayers are with President Biden and his family as he battles his cancer diagnosis. I join all Americans in wishing him a steady recovery.”
In another tweet on May 19, Griffith announced the release of his weekly e-newsletter focusing on political empowerment. The message read: “CONGRESSMAN GRIFFITH’S WEEKLY E-NEWSLETTER 5.16.25 Topic: Clawing Back Power One Step At A Time”
