Morgan Griffith, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 9th District since 2011, shared several updates through his social media account on June 18 and 19, 2025. These posts provide insights into his recent activities and engagements within his district.

On June 18, Griffith expressed appreciation for law enforcement officials in the Ninth District. He mentioned meeting Sheriff Foster of Bristol during a busy day that included interactions with local media outlets WCYB and WJHL. The original post can be viewed here.

Morgan Griffith has been an active representative since succeeding Rick Boucher in Congress in 2011. Prior to this role, he served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2000 to 2010. Born in Philadelphia in 1958, Griffith now resides in Salem and holds degrees from Emory and Henry College and Washington and Lee University.
