Sublette is a typical Midwestern farming village. Its skyline is defined by two church sphires and the silos of the towering grain elevator. Yet , it is unique in many ways. Within ten miles of the village there are over 8,000 campsites located in five seperate camping resorts, including Woodhaven Lakes which is the world’s largest privately owned camping resort. Shady Oaks Country Club, a sporty eighteen hole golf course is just northwest of town on Route 52.
