Census Bureau: More men than women in Emory in 2019

Of the 1,155 people living in Emory in 2019, 47.4 percent (547) were women and 52.6 percent (608) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Virginia News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 505-to-475. In the 65 and over age range, there were 62 females and 82 males.
