1.) What does your organization do?

M&T Bank is a regional financial services company providing banking, insurance, investments, mortgage and financial services for businesses and individuals alike.

2.) What was your first job?

Working for The Carroll Sun newspaper

3.) How did you choose the field you are in?

My interest in banking started while working for Carroll County Bank during summers while home from college

4.) What career highlight or accomplishment are you most proud of?

Assisting clients with growing their respective businesses.

5.) What is one of your favorite local business and why?

Maggie’s for the food and atmosphere.

6.) What is one of your favorite nonprofits to volunteer with or to support, and why is it important to you?

The Arc Of Carroll County, Flying Colors Of Success, and The Partnership For a Healthier Carroll County for their respective missions in helping people.

7.) How do you like to spend your days off?

Spending time with my wife, our two sons, and our dog Macy.

8.) What book, TV show or podcast would you recommend and why?

“Billions” –  entertaining drama on Showtime about a hedge fund manager and the issues he encounters as he accumulates wealth and power.

9.) If you had a theme song what would it be?

“Spirits In the Material World” by The Police.

10.) What is your favorite quote or piece of advice?

“Hard Work Pays Off” and “What Off-Season?”

11.) What do you like about being a Chamber member?

Seeing how The Chamber advocates and serves as a resource for advancing local businesses.
