Bluefield College Athletics issued the following announcement on Jan. 26
Bluefield University women's basketball snapped a two-game skid Wednesday night with a 76-47 Appalachian Athletic Conference win over Montreat College at the Dome Gymnasium. The Rams controlled the game from the outset and never trailed.
INSIDE THE GAME
- Bluefield led 24-6 after one quarter and 48-21 at halftime.
- The Rams shot 64% from the field in the opening half, the Cavaliers 27%
- Bluefield won the first half rebound battle 23-7.
- The Rams biggest lead in the second half was 37 points.
- BU shot 58% for the game, MC 26%
- Kylie Meadows 23 points and nine rebounds.
- Destiny Long 13 points.
- Tianna Crockett and Jadyn Hoover each had eight rebounds.
- The Rams take to the road for a Saturday afternoon contest at Truett McConnell University.
