The No. 22 ranked Bluefield University Rams dropped its weekend AAC series at Reinhardt University.The Eagles won the series opener Friday 8-0, and then took a doubleheader from BU on Saturday, 11-1 and 4-3.
GAME ONE
- Reece Genter and David Meech each had a pair of hits in the 8-0 loss.
- The Rams' sole run came on a solo homer by Meech in the second inning of the 11-1 loss.
- Bluefield held a 2-1 lead until Reinhardt tied at two in the sixth. The Rams retook the lead in the top of the seventh to only see the Eagles score twice in the bottom of the seventh to gain the win and series sweep.
- The Rams visit Tennessee Wesleyan next Friday-Saturday for a showdown between two top teams in the AAC.
