Men's Basketball Adds Game, Shifts Schedule

Men's Basketball Adds Game, Shifts Schedule

Longwood men's basketball has added one game to its non-conference schedule, head coach Griff Aldrich announced.

The Lancers will travel west to take on the University of San Diego on Monday, Nov. 28. For Longwood, it will be the first time the Lancers have played against San Diego in program history.

As a part of the change, the team's home game against Mary Baldwin has been moved forward to Friday, Nov. 25.

The Lancers will take the court to open the season on Monday, Nov. 7 at Alabama as part of a now 13-game non-conference schedule. The team returns four of five starters and 10 players from last season's Big South title-winning squad.

Longwood will begin its Big South title defense on Thursday, Dec. 29 against High Point as part of an 18-game Big South slate.

General admission season ticket packages are now on sale for the final season in Willett Hall.
