Hoover named AAC Player of the Week
Jaydn Hoover of Bluefield is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
The league announced the award on Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the awards for the 2022-23 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Dec. 12.

- Averaged 20.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in helping Bluefield to a 2-0 record on the week.
- Scored 25 points in a 68-64 win over St. Andrews.
- Shot 48.1 percent from the floor and 40.0 percent from 3-point range.
- Had 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block on the week as well.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
