The Bluefield University Rams women's basketball team used a second half surge to defeat the St. Andrews University Knight 74-60, Tuesday night in Appalachian Athletic Conference play at the Dome Gymnasium.
INSIDE THE GAME
- St. Andrews shot 57% from the field in the opening quarter and led 19-17 after the first 10 minutes.
- The Rams battled back in the second and led 31-29 at halftime.
- BU out-scored SAU 26-16 in the third period to pull away for good.
- St. Andrews, who dressed only six players for the game, played the final four minutes with only four players on the court after two Knights fouled out of the game.
- Kylie Meadows recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 23 points and 16 rebounds.
- Jaydn Hoover finished with 15 points and four steals.
- Emily Breeding tallied 13 points.
- Kiaa Boyd came off the bench to score 10 points and grab seven rebounds.
