Rams come back to shoot down Buffaloes
Kylie Meadows hit two free throws and converted a three-point-play in the final minute to lift the Bluefield University Rams to a 78-72 win over the Milligan University Buffaloes, Thursday night in Appalachian Athletic Conference play. BU improved to 12-10 in the AAC and 12-13 overall.
INSIDE THE GAME
- Milligan led 18-16 at the end of the first quarter and 34-29 at halftime.
- The Buffaloes were up by nine, 55-46 to start the fourth quarter.
- The Rams outscored the Buffaloes 32-17 in the fourth quarter to get the win.
- There were six ties and five lead changes in the game.
- Meadows scored 27 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out two assists.
- Jaydn Hoover scored 13 points.
- Emily Breeding and Destiny Long each had 10 points and three rebounds.
- The Rams welcome Truett McConnell to the Dome for Senior Day, Saturday at 2 p.m.
