There was one American Indian student enrolled in Wythe County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Wythe County Public Schools District welcomed 3,803 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised less than 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the school.

Wythe County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Wythe County and has a main office in Wytheville.
