There were 1,610 white students enrolled in Bristol City Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 1.6% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Bristol City Public Schools District welcomed 2,154 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, white students comprised 74.7% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.

Bristol City Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Bristol City and has a main office in Bristol.

Among the six schools in Bristol City Public Schools District, Virginia High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
