There were 102 multiracial students enrolled in Carroll County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 15.9% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Carroll County Public Schools District welcomed 3,444 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 3% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the school.

Carroll County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Carroll County and has a main office in Hillsville.

Among the nine schools in Carroll County Public Schools District, St. Paul School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
