In 2023-24 school year, enrollment at Bland County High School in Bland County increased by 2.6% compared to the previous year

Bland County High School had the highest enrollment among Bland County schools, welcoming 436 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed at the time, 51.6% of them were male, and 48.4% were female.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 80.5% of Bland County High School's total enrollment.

Among the two schools in Bland County, Bland County Elementary School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 357 students.

Bland County High School is part of Bland County Public Schools District, which roughly covers schools within Bland County, with its main office in Rocky Gap.

In the previous school year, Bland County High School also had the highest number of students among Bland County schools.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
