State Senator John Hoffman and his wife were critically injured in the same attack. Kilgore stated, “The senseless violence in Minnesota that lead to the death of public servants Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband as well as the critical injuries of State Senator John Hoffman and his wife is reprehensible. This type of targeted attack has no place in our society.”
