Bland County had one gas station selling diesel gas at the lowest price of $3.54 per gallon during the week ending Feb. 14, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $3.79 per gallon for diesel gas.
Among six gas stations in cities within Bland County, two offered diesel gas.
Across Virginia, the average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas fell to $3.59, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
