Richlands High School recently issued the following announcement.
The ARP ACT has provided $2.1 billion in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) III funds for Virginia. Tazewell County Public Schools has been awarded $13,744,732.66 through this plan. The ARP Act requires school divisions to use 20% of their formula funds to address learning loss which amounts to $2,748,946.52 for TCPS. The period of performance for ARP Act ESSER funds is March 13, 2020, through September 30, 2024.
