Non-sterile compounding pharmacy is the practice of pharmacy dedicated to making “custom” medications that are not commercially available. Compounding pharmacies prepare medications for patients on an individual basis, as well as for animals. Commonly compounded medications include topical creams, hormone replacement therapy, pain management, and medications for pets/animals.
