Griffith Announces $214,505 to Virginia Tech for Cancer Treatment Research

U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded Virginia Tech a $214,505 grant for cancer treatment research.

In a statement, Congressman Morgan Griffith praised Virginia Tech, saying, “Virginia Tech has a dedicated and talented group of professionals advancing our knowledge and capabilities in the health sector.” He also expressed his satisfaction with the grant allocation, stating, “I am pleased the Department of Health and Human Services has awarded this grant to the university to aid in the research of cancer treatments.”

The grant will support Virginia Tech's efforts in advancing research and developing treatments for cancer, contributing to the ongoing fight against this disease.
