Lopez has been selected to serve as the Chair-Select for the Graduate Student Issues and Involvement Committee for Southeastern Association of Housing Officers (SEAHO).
SEAHO is a regional branch of Association of College and University Housing Officers International (ACUHO-I), the premier organization for educators who work in housing and residence life.
In this role, Lopez will be overseeing the committee that addresses issues and needs for the housing graduate assistant experiences. She will be helping develop recognition opportunities, a mentorship program, professional development series and encouraging increased attendance to the SEAHO conference for graduate assistants in housing.
“This is a great opportunity for myself and the College,” says Lopez. “I will have a wide-network of peers to work with to help provide E&H housing more resources, data, and best practices.”
