The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that it has awarded Mount Rogers Community Services Board a mental health and substance abuse services grant totaling $1,000,000. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“I am very pleased that the Department of Health and Human Services has allocated more resources to the Ninth District to help treat those experiencing issues with mental health and substance abuse. With drug overdose deaths at record levels, the importance of addressing both mental health and substance abuse has never been more apparent.”
