On February 5, Griffith announced, "On DAY ONE, I reintroduced the HALT Fentanyl Act. The American people demand action to combat the fentanyl crisis. We will vote on HALT Fentanyl this week so we can save American lives."
The following day, February 6, Griffith expressed gratitude towards former President Donald Trump for attending an event at the Capitol. He tweeted, "I thank President Trump for joining us at the US Capitol for the National Prayer Breakfast this morning.
