Morgan Griffith, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Virginia's 9th District, took time in April 2025 to engage with several community and industrial groups in southwest Virginia. His visits and meetings provided opportunities to acknowledge the efforts and contributions of local workers and leaders in various sectors.
On April 14, Griffith met with the team at Martin’s Pharmacy, a community pharmacy located in Dublin, Virginia. He expressed his gratitude towards "the dedicated workers of Martin’s Pharmacy and all community pharmacies in the region who tend to the medical needs of their community."
Griffith's engagement continued in Pulaski County on April 15, where he had a conversation with the Pulaski County Economic Development Authority Chairman, Kevin Meredith. Griffith shared his visit on social media, stating, "While in Pulaski County yesterday, I got to chat with Pulaski County Economic Development Authority Chairman Kevin Meredith."
The following day, on April 16, Griffith toured the TMEIC Corporation Americas in Roanoke County. In his words, he appreciated the invitation and remarked on the facility's workforce during his visit. Griffith noted, "I learned more about the hundreds of folks that work at TMEIC and their contributions to the engineering, manufacturing, and tech sectors."
Morgan Griffith, who has been representing Virginia's 9th district since 2011, succeeded Rick Boucher and continues to reside in Salem. A graduate of Emory and Henry College and Washington and Lee University, Griffith also has a background in law.
