Martinsville-Henry Coalition receives $873K HHS grant for health services

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has allocated a grant amounting to $873,542 to the Martinsville-Henry Coalition for Health and Wellness. Congressman Morgan Griffith from Virginia announced this funding.

“This September, I visited and toured the Bassett Health Center that operates as part of Connect Health + Wellness,” stated Congressman Griffith. He further added, “This grant for more than $873,000 helps Connect Health + Wellness provide critical health care services and treatments.”

The grant is part of the HHS H80 Health Center Program. Connect Health + Wellness provides healthcare services across several localities including Bassett, Martinsville, Patrick Springs, Stuart, and Ridgeway.
